Olympic Opening Ceremony

Mike McRoberts was reporting about the Olympic Ceremony on July the 27th, 2012.

Mr Bean was playing the piano with  a weird face, when he was playing he sneezed. Bean tried to reach for his tissue but he couldn't, so instead he reached for an umbrella.


Mr Bean had his tissue and he throwed it on someone elses is Instrument. He then had a dream of him running with some other men across the beach, but then Mr Bean was comeing last.Mr Bean cheated and went into a ’’car and drove in front of them, then went out of the car and trip someone over and Mr Bean came first.

By the time he finished dreaming, The song was already finish.
Nick Wilson carried the New Zealand Flag. His athle was Long distance running.
The audience were cheering for their countries. The Big Torch was lighted, ’’Let the games begin’’.

Olympics Rings

During1914 Baron pierre de coudertin disigned, olympic flags.

The rings represent the five parts of the world,joined together in a olympic movement.

There where blue,yellow,black,green and red.

Did you know that continents, are Africa,the Americans,Asia,Australia and Europe?

School Idol

There was a School Idol held in the hall. You could apply by  just putting your name outside Mr Butlers

classroom. Zack, Josh and Nathan decided to sign up. They had to think of a group name, so they messed up their names to think of some. Their group name was JoNaZa.

The Olympics 2012

In 2012 the Summer Olympics are going to be held in London, England.

On July 27, 2012, there is going to be an opening ceremony.

The closing ceremony is on August 12,2012.

Bmx Cycling

The Olympic event I have chosen is Bmx cycling. You have to cycle fast to come first. You also have to stay in front of the race so you can win the gold medal!

 
BMX cycling was started in the1960's in California.

BMX first appeared in the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008. A man called Latvias Maris Strombergs won the first BMX olympics race.

You need a BMX bike if you are going to ride on the tracks, and you have to have protective clothing. It might be handy to have a helmet for your head!

If you want to win your bike has to be light so it can go quite fast. You need to know how to do bunny hops so you can have a better view when you get to a ramp. It is also important to be smart and know were the tracks are!

Holiday Highlight

In the weekend I was bored because there was nothing to do, but sit and play games everyday. I was thinking about what Pt. England's topic would be. Me and my big brother brought a new game called Iron Man 2. It was a Nintendo game. I liked it, but I couldn't play because my big brother was playing on the Nintendo first.


Overall I enjoyed playing, but really I`ve cloaked the hole game.
